Smoke rose in a small
cloud above Spencer's head. He watched as it diffused in the air in his room.
Music played softly in the background of his thoughts. He starred at the two
round scars on his calf, subconsciously, and thought about his mother asleep in
the other room. He entwined his fingers in the dark metal beads surrounding his
neck. He let the metallic dragon hang down, feeling the electrifying shocks of
the lack of heat on his bare chest. He moved his eyes from his leg, to his
computer screen, where the conversation he had with the quirky little girl was
still up on his yahoo, which he was signed in under invisible.
